The importance of a framework

In this current era where the lines between work and personal life are very blurry, having a clear set of boundaries that guides both actions and behaviours has never been more critical.

In the workplace, this is your People Framework; made up of your Employment Agreements, Position Descriptions, Policies and Procedures and Behavioural Framework, linked to your company goals and values.

Whether you are starting out, or you look around and you have grown so quickly you haven’t had a chance to build your people framework at the same rate as you’ve employed people; having a solid people framework in place is integral to your ability to further grow and scale your business while limiting your governance risk.

We will help you build your framework from the ground up, with a focus on equipping operational leaders with confidence and competence to effectively manage their team.

We start with conducting an audit of your current processes and work with you to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. For this, we use our free online tool: People Review Checklist

When organisations devise a periodic business plan they consider their sales targets, market share, point of difference, new channels, profitability, marketing, branding and sales strategy, operational efficiencies and innovation, procurement and fulfilment; but not always what skills their team will need to deliver those outcomes.

We assist you to develop a People strategy aligned with your 3-5-year business plan, with a focus on what skills, experience, and structures you will need to have in place to meet your goals.

Scalability is an important consideration for organisations planning to grow and expand and the people aspect is a crucial component.

Change inside organisations can be painful - costly from a time and resources perspective and can disengage key team members. Much better to build healthy employee habits early, than to wait until the organisation has grown to a size where layers and processes are needed; and try to retro-fit these.
